The Consumer Electronics Show was quite a significant event for music system brand Zu that gave the world a peek into its Essence loudspeaker and impressed them all, so much that the expectations hit the skies even beyond its previous successful venture that we knew as the Druid speaker. And now the company has launched the fourth generation speakers that we all had been waiting for and we are told that they will blow us away!

The technology used in Essence is called Zu260FRD/G4, and it comes with a full-range driver and a whole bunch of high-end tools that integrate new Zu Griewe acoustic loading technology of the company that promises an impressive range of surround sound.

A very sophisticated high-efficiency ribbon tweeter is carried within the glossy structure that is as modern as they get. No wonder, the Essence looks nothing short of a contemporary work of art. In fact, it is being touted as ‘complete’ in form and sound quality. Check them out at your nearest hi-fi shop. The price tag is expectedly hefty at $5,000, whether justifiably so or not…you tell us!
