Soon carbon fiber, popularly used in making furniture, will be passe for many have not particularly been able to overlook its frail texture. In fact, for them wood has always been a more sturdy and reliable alternative. Now, the facts proved to be of great motivation for the development team at Choate. Well, they have tried to put the goodness of both the materials into a custom carbon fiber TV and table base for te kitchen.

Choate’s technology called ADDON is still pending. We hear that it requires using one layer of carbon fiber sheet over wood. This helps achieve a clean carbon fiber look with the strength of wood.

The new technology can only be applied to flat wood surfaces and no where else. Also, it is also pretty easy to paint on. So, your pockets can also stay happy because it costs very less than a full carbon fiber furniture. Choate is charging $500 for the carbon fiber coating.
