gere-farmhouse Richard Gere Is Keen To Sell His Water Mill Country House

Richard Gere is a motivated businessman. Well, he already has a home in North Haven, New York which is why he has lowered the selling price of his Water Mill home. Wifey Carey Lowell supports him in his decision as the price of the seven-bedroom harmhouse is brought down from $8.8 million to $7.2 million.

Now, if the budget is ok with you let us give you some more dope on the property. The Too Many Maples (yep, that’s the name of the farmhouse…cho chweet) in Water Mill was bought by Gere and his better half for just $2.75 million in 2001. The abode spreads across a 1.2 acre with facilities like a swimming pool, guest house and artist’s studio.

The country residence is appealing because of the very warm and comfortable vibe that it exudes. The flooring is antique wood and light fixtures vintage to the ‘V’. Also, there are many typical farmhouse features too like the dining table and the whte marble counter tops. Just the things you need when relaxing on a getaway with family. Any takers?
