During a time when most automakers are trying their best to confront the credit crunch, Chevrolet seems to be the one brand least affected by the goings on in the rest of the world, and ditto for its latest creation Captiva. This special car is an ultra-blingy item that comes embellished with more than 150,000 pieces of Swarovski Crystals.

An endeavor taken up by BlingMyThing, who have this habit of giving a dose of glam to almost anything, the Chevrolet Captiva was unveiled at the recent Bangkok International Motor Show. We hear that each Swarovski ice has been added to the car one-by-one, a task that took the craftsmen a little over 300 hours. In fact, the glamorous accent to the gold Chevrolet logo with light Colorado topaz crystallized Swarovski elements was apparently the toughest task, but we must say, the effort shows!

Coming to the inside of the car, prepare yourself to expect the very best. Well, it comes with standard options like a 7-inch touch screen on the console that has a navigator system incorporating air conditioning and audio controls. The beige colored luxury leather adds its own glamour while the 18-inch alloy wheels with Dunlop sports tires and a chromium front grill take you on a joyride. You can personalize the car in your fave color; you get some 60 options to choose from. The complete customization will cost $28,137.
