It is now being 80 years now that a company called Speedo is engaged in producing swimsuits with difference. Lately, the company happens to unveil a swimsuit claiming it to be the fastest underwater swimsuit designed ever. Undoubtedly, LZR Racer has resemblance to the one worn by Ian Thorpe in the 2000 Olympics. It is no less than an absolute bodysuit but has a magnificent flawless look attached to it. The fabric used is welded jointly to give the feel of no visible seams. Truly speaking, if it actually manages to raise the pace of those diving inside, then it would be a great tool for those sporting it.
The attire helps reducing drag, thereby increasing your speed. The suit will reach for testing in national swimming trials and would be worn by elite swimmers viz. Michael Phelps (US), Libby Lenton (AUS) and Grant Hackett (AUS) in Beijing come August. It will hit the market in May 2008 and would be available at a price tag of $290-$550.
