Evolution Acoustics’ MMthree Speakers for $50,000
While days back when I introduced you to Steinway Model-D Stereo, world’s most-expensive stereo system, today we have MMthree. Don’t mistake it by identifying it as any other technology or the soon-to-be-released movie. It is the new speaker system to be unveiled by Evolution Acoustics.
This elite two-channel system packed with three-way 1, 000-watt speakers is catching eyeballs. The power is propelled with a dual 15″ treated paper woofers, two 7″ ceramic mid ranges, and a 5″ aluminum band tweeter on either side.
True, these drivers end up making this speaker system a bit fatty with 2″ baffle weighs in at a hefty 525lbs featuring 74″x18″x30″ cabinets. With a frequency response of 10-40,000Hz, the MMthree speaker system is soon expected to hit the market with a pricey sum of $50,000. For your information, the MM3 would soon be established at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest scheduled for 12-14 October.
