Gone are those days when the submarines were only available to the naval forces and for commercial purposes. With great advancements in technology, the concept of personal submersible vehicles has now taken the shape of reality, with a host of options available for the consumers to take advantage of. Now, Seabreacher, a company widely known for its personal submersibles has come out with a range of submarines that are designed to mimic the frame of some of the most exquisite marine animals, such as sharks and dolphins, at the same time providing the users with a thrill of a high speed underwater journey.
One such model is the Seabreacher X, touted as one of the most advanced of all Seabreacher models, this incredible submersible vehicle is capable of achieving a top speed of 50mph on the surface and 25mph below. The X model is based on the contours of a shark and the vessel is propelled by a powerful 260hp supercharged engine. Due to the structure of the hell of the vessel, the Seabreacher X is more than capable of high speed dives, that allows it to breach the surface of the water, while launching the entire vessel clear of the water surface. The X model has been given a custom exhaust system and comes with a fully vectored thrust system, that has been designed around the tail articulation of real aquatic animals like sharks.
The Seabrecher X model has been inspected and approved by the U.S Coast Guard and comes with a collapsible nose section, in case the vessel encounters a frontal impact. The X model is packed some of the latest in entertainment technology, with snorkel mounted video camera that provides real time video feed to the occupants via a LCD screen. Furthermore, the vessel has also been given a GPS navigation, and on board stereo system with iPod docking.
