There is a super cool concept yacht that has been brought out by Zero To Nine Design. The special thing about this yacht is that it is eco-friendly. This design has been christened superyacht 006. It is basically a 43-metre vessel whose hardtop has been fitted with photovoltaic cells that will continue to charge itself even when ate the berth. This concept was designed with the help of Schottel, Corvus Energy and Quantum.
The inverters attached to these cells will then transfer the energy to the shore and will be used to provide electricity to marinas or augment the local electricity network. These cells will be able generate around 20kW. This superyacht will have three diesel generators that will optimize the fuel consumption when at the maximum cruising and range speed. There is a twin-deck owner’s area at the fore.
This means that the crew area will be shifted longitudinally to be more amidships, while the guest cabins will be placed aft. There will be three crew cabins situated on the lower deck, and one crew cabin on the main deck. The captain’s cabin will be on the upper deck. About six guests will be able to be accommodated in the three cabins of the yacht.
