Asia Superyacht Rendezvous 2010 to See Some Great Yachts

The highly anticipated Asia Superyacht Rendezvous 2010 will see a number of top notch vessels, as has been confirmed recently. This year, the event will take place around two to three days. Some of the star attractions at the shows here will be 50MM/Y Perseus built by Perini Navi in 200, the M/Y Maverick II built by Sterling in 1988, the 57M S/Y Montigne built by Aegean Yachts last year in 2009, and the 40.3M M/Y My Lady Arraya built by Oceanfast way back in 1990.

Many of the boats wont go to coller regions like Europe or North America but will remain in the region. One of the organisers of the event Captain Charles Dwyer of the Yanneke Too said: “While enjoying a luxury yacht setting, some of the owners and captains extend their holiday and stream out for the distinctly different cruising on Thailand’s Andaman coast following our event.”

“Owners, captains and crew love visiting Phuket as South East Asia offers so much in diversity and adventure. Phuket is stepping up to be the Monaco of the East!” The event will be headquartered at The Surin in Phuket and will go on from December 16 to 18.
