While most people gift their wives jewellery or clothes for their anniversary, Jay Z is gifting his wife, Beyonce an island! A great event few days back was the TOIFA awards where we saw a constellation of movie stars descend on the red carpet. Some of the best dressed were Priyanka Chopra in a black Arpan Vohra black gown, Nargis Fakhri in a dazzling Komal Sood silver gown, and Neha Dhupia in a regal Sabyasachi lehenga. Abhishek Bacchan and Aishwarya Rai Bacchan looked every bit like the Bollywood royalty that they are in a Navy Shervani and a light green Sabyasachi dress. Gauri Khan however didn’t look her best in a Tarun Tahiliani sari gown. The over-tight hairdo didn’t help her either.
Chanel has always picked some of the biggest names for their ad campaigns. The list of celebrity endorsers include Brad Pitt, Keira Knightly among several others. This elite list will now be joined by the lovely Diane Kruger, who has been chosen as the face of Chanel’s beauty line. Though the campaign will be seen only by this years end, it has already created a lot of buzz. We agree with the people at Chanel, as Miss. Kruger is a flawless stunner, though they credit her ‘natural elegance and beauty’ and ‘cosmopolitan spirit’ for the pick. This infact wont be the first time she has become a part of a Chanel campaign. She did a campaign for their fragrance—Allure, way back in 1996. We look forward to her renewed association with the fashion brand.
