Film actors, particularly the action stars have to rough it out in different and often difficult locations. But stars being stars, they like to have all the luxuries and comforts even when they are filming away from home. The actors get very elaborate trailers created for on set accommodation. Vin Diesel, the star of the Fast and the Furious film franchise has got for himself luxury trailer for a whopping $1.1 million. The enormous trailer provides 1,100 square feet of luxurious living space and is the home away from home for the 44 year old star while filming his action blockbusters.
The two storied monster of a trailer is finished in gold. The journalists were allowed in to have a look while the luxury trailer was stationed on the set of The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking. The trailer was shipped all the way to Puerto Rico where the star had gone to shoot for the latest Fast and the Furious installment. The state of the art entertainment system worth $70,000 is the highlight of the trailer. 3D flat screen TVs and Blu-Ray, keep the actor entertained during those long hours in between scenes.
The top floor of the trailer is a pop up, part of which has been developed as a play area for kids. The trailer boasts of a media lounge and private office space. The materials used for the interiors of the trailer are top class including granite counter tops in the kitchen. The high end trailer has been created Anderson Mobile Estates who have vast experience in the field as they have created vehicles to the specifications of stars like Mariah Carey, Sharon Stone and Will Smith. Incidentally Vin Diesel’s trailer is not the most expensive of its kind as the Will Smith’s trailer which is practically a mansion on wheels cost $2 million to make.
