It is the most expensive ski resort with the combined cost of $746.

The combined package includes the cost of a night’s hotel stay, basic ski rental package and lift ticket, and a meal and a drink at Vail. The cost of the meal and drink is an average for a standard meal and a beer. The cost will obviously go up if you choose a more expensive meal and drink. At $582, it is the cost of the hotel at Vail that makes it the most expensive destination. The other costs related to skiing and the meals compare favorably with the other destinations.

Colorado is the most expensive state in US for ski vacations as four of the five most expensive destinations are located in the state. Whistler, according to TripAdvisor is the priciest ski resort in Canada, with a total index price of $486. You need not be disappointed if you are looking for a bargain. The index is very comprehensive and has listed destinations which are offering bargain prices as well. Salt Lake City offers the best bargain in terms of pricing as the total cost for skiing and a night’s accommodations, according to the index, was $239.
