It is a big deal in the luxury jewelry and watch sector. United Brands LLC, a United States based company that deals in management and consulting, has launched its comprehensive list of leading brands of jewelry, diamonds and watches. This time around, the list comprises 7 different categories, with each category consisting of ten entrants. Jewelry brands are themselves divided into four categories. These are Fashion Design, Bridal Design, Premium Luxury and Luxury. There is an additional category listing for Top 10 Jewelry Designers. Luxury watch brands are also divided into two categories – Super Premium and Luxury.
Topping the list of jewelry brands in the Fashion Design category are Italian brand Roberto Coin, privately-held American company David Yurman and diamond jewelry house Kwiat. First in the Bridal Design category for jewelry brands were Hollywood favorite and couture destination Neil Lane. The brand was followed by Tacori and Simon G. Graff, Cartier and Harry Winston made it to the top in the Premium Luxury category, while Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and Chopard snapped up the top three positions in the Luxury section. Neil Lane made a second appearance by topping the list for Top 10 Jewelry Designers. This time, the designer was followed by Stephen Webster and Los Angeles-based Erica Courtney.
Making it to the top in the Super Premium Watch Brands category were two Swiss giants, Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin. German luxury watchmaker A. Lange & Sohne grabbed the third spot. The watch brands that dominated the Luxury category included still more well-known names like Rolex, Cartier and Audemars Piguet.
The lists were put together by United Brands’ executives, consultants and affiliates. Various aspects were taken into consideration, including quality, design, value and performance among other things. Here is the full list:
