The Two Month Long Capital Wine Festival Kicks Off on 20th of January

Fairfax Hotel at Embassy Row will be playing host to the second annual Capital Wine Festival. It is an occasion and opportunity to know everything about wine from different regions. This year the number of participants is going up and a diverse group of vineyards will be represented. The festival is a creation of Chef Daniel Bruce, who helms the kitchen at the Boston Harbor Hotel.

Located in Dupont Circle, the festival is starting from the 20th of January. Chef Daniel Bruce had started the Boston Wine Festival twenty years ago. Over the years he has expanded the event to include other wine regions like New Orleans, Berkley and DC. These are disparate but equally popular and significant wine regions. The festival is popular with the connoisseurs who get to taste the best every region has to offer. People in general also love it because of the lavish scale at which it is organized.

The Capital Wine Festival is planned as a leisurely festival and is spread over two months. In the course of the festival there will be a total of eight dinners. Though, the focus will be the wines of vineyards from Poggio al Tesoro, Continuum Estate and Ponzi Vineyards. The wines will be presented by the representatives from the wineries.
