The Palm Court at Plaza Opens After Renovation

One of historic dining places in New York, The Palm Court, at The Plaza has reopened after renovation which has cost some $6.5 million. Nearly 103 years old, The Plaza itself underwent complete renovation and its grandeur has been completely restored with the opening of The Palm Court. The Plaza is one of the most elite destinations in New York for more than hundred years and has an illustrious cultural past. Every past owner has invested great amount of money to maintain the luxurious hotel and this time entire renovation cost was whooping $450 million!

The Palm Court, one of the dining venues at The Plaza, is famous for stained-glass lit ambience which has been restored to past glory. The place will serve afternoon tea and lunch and an a la carte brunch menu on Sundays.  The Chef Willis Loughead will cook his special farm-to-table dishes and the different Tea menus will include three-tier display scones, sandwiches and pastries, cookies, organic roast beef on a pretzel roll and New York cheesecake. There are special menus for children and venue can be booked for special evenings.

New Yorkers must be excited to have The Palm Court back with its famous afternoon tea, all popular elite menus and the stained glass lay light. Check website for booking a table but remember the dress code remains the same – business casual attire.
