The Leela Palace Udaipur is a Luxurious Addition to the City’s Hotel Scene

Udaipur is called the city of lakes and its hotels have regularly featured in the list of best luxury  hotels in India. The Leela Group of Hotels have come up with an opulent hotel located on the banks of Lake Pichola. The Leela Palace Udaipur has been built by architect Bill Bensley and interior designer Jeffrey Wilkes. The palace like design is very modern and contemporary in all aspects. The hotel features a total of 80 luxurious rooms and suites fit for royals. The location on the lake Pichola surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains makes it very picturesque.

Everything about the Leela Palace Udaipur is luxurious and unique. There are lavish private boats that ferry the guests to the hotel. As soon as the guests arrive, they are taken to the rooms directly and the check in process is completed there. There is a dedicated butler for each floor who takes care of every detail. There is nothing in the hotel that is a compromise, not even the size of the rooms. The rooms are large with an average space of 580 square feet.

The largest royal suite in the hotel is appropriately called the Maharaja Suite and measures a royal 3,552 square feet. All the rooms are laid out in such a way that they all offer obstructed picturesque views of the Lake Pichola. Various traditional elements have been used in the interiors but they have been combined well with the comforts of modern living. The hotel boasts of two restaurants and they have been lavishly decorated and designed. The hotel also features a lounge bar and the ESPA.
