The Eccleston Square Hotel, London is on track for its scheduled opening. The hotel also known as the ‘007’ hotel for its technological features and gadgets has started taking reservations for May 2012. The hotel will have the most advanced in-room technology of any hotel in London. They have uploaded a new video on the hotel’s website showcasing the features in the rooms as there was a lot of curiosity generated by the peek-a-boo bathrooms announced earlier.
The rooms will have a single control pad controlling all its features, the curtains, the TV, lighting and the sound. In fact the glass in the room can turn opaque at the touch of a button. The other features announced by the promoters is high speed WiFi connectivity, voice over IP, mirror TVs in the bathroom, oversized rain showers, 3D Tvs, L’Occitane toiletries and £12,000 Hasten beds .
The hotel has released details about the plans on the food and beverages front. The hotel’s bar and restaurant will serve modern-European menus created by Malmaison Executive Chef Keith Shearer. A traditional English high tea will be served every day. Room rates will start at £250.
