One of the leading names in the field of luxury champagnes, Perrier-Jouët is now celebrating its 200th anniversary and on this magnificent occasion, the company has now come out with an all-new bi centenary special edition of its famous luxury champagne in the in the form of ‘Bi-Centenaire’. This marvelous drink has been introduced into the market by liquor supplier, Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Europe. The Bi-Centenaire has been released in a gorgeous twin-presentation box and Perrier-Jouët has stated only 100 of these special editions will be available. Two of these sets have made their way through to the Terminal Five, Heathrow airport, where they are available for purchase at the duty-free Wine Collection—Rare & Vintage. The stunning box set was designed by Daniel Arsham, who took the inspirations for the design from Emile Gallé, who had designed the company’s first brand artwork, Art Nouveau in the year 1902. The Bi-Centenaire consists of two bottles of the incredible famous champagne and the box set was conceived on the idea that one bottle can be consumed by the buyer and the second bottle can be passed on to the next generation as a legacy.
The Bi-Centenaire also comes with a personal journal that can be used by the buyer to write messages to the next owner of this luxury champagne. Furthermore, the Bi-Centenaire from Perrier-Jouët has been introduced as an instrument of class, elegance and panache that can be handed to generations and is considered to be more of a collector’s item than just mere liquor.
According to Shuhui Lim (Sr. Brand Manager, Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Europe),
“The Bi-Centenaire pack celebrates Perrier-Jouët’s remarkable 200 years of history and allows the travelling champagne aficionados the opportunity to pass on their legacy from generation to generation. We are extremely excited to launch this elegant collector’s piece and first ‘living legacy’ champagne in European travel-retail exclusively with Aldeasa–WDF.â€
