Super Talent Technology keeps coming out with some great USB Devices. One of my favourite has been their key-shaped ones. This time around they have given the Midas Touch to a very cool USB. Called Pico-C, this device has been covered in 24 carat gold. But that is not the only thing that makes this flash drive special. The manufacturers of this device also claim it to be the smallest of its kind.
With 64GB NAND Flash storage solution, this flash drive boasts of a 30MB per second read speed and 15MB write. It is USB 2.0 compatible measures just 1.23 x 0.48 x 0.13-inches (31.3 x 12.4 x 3.4mm) in size. Its weight is less than a nickel at just 0.21 ounces (6g). But don’t think that this little thing wont be durable. They are also marketing it as both rugged and water resistant. Super Talent Technology has priced this gold plated Pico-C flash drive at US$165.
I have a feeling that this just might become a rage with the geeks out there. And why not, it has some great features, like its storage capacity, plus the speed. It also gives you a luxe experience. I mean these days with everything getting gold-plated, this is something that would be more within the price range of most than the other products.
