Starwood Hotels & Resorts have been very aggressively taking up brand revitalization initiatives. They have kept aside a budget of $6 billion for this effort. They have now announced the launch of Shine for Sheraton, a global spa concept designed exclusively for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. Shine for Sheraton will debut in new properties across the globe and as a new spa solution for existing hotels and resorts. Sheraton has selected Germaine de Capuccini, a leading global spa and skincare brand, as the preferred product partner for Shine spas.
Shine was basically developed by Starwood’s in house team to create an upscale, approachable spa experience for its guests. They have chosen Germaine De Capuccini as the preferred product partner and offer five signature treatments including a massage, facial, body treatment, manicure/pedicure and a treatment for two – to help guests find their glow.
The team developing the spa has used the hotel’s guest feedback extensively to develop services that satisfy the customers the most. If the research is to be believed, eight out of ten guests at Sheraton are likely to use the services of the spa. The new offering is already available in select hotels in China, Vietnam, the Maldives and the Slovak Republic. There are 12 new openings scheduled in the coming 15 months and the global rollout of Shine for Sheraton will continue.
