Savoy Hotel of London is Ready to Reopen in its New Avatar on 10th October

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts had taken over the famous Savoy Hotel of London and decided to completely redesign it and comprehensively renovate it. The exercise has taken 35 months and the costs have gone up to £220 million ($349 million). But the hotel in its new avatar is ready to welcome guests from October 10. The entire structure from the iconic entrance and the American Bar to Savoy Grill and the 268 guestrooms and suites have been redesigned. Many new features have been added to the rooms including the M80 compact entertainment systems.

Designer Pierre Yves Rochon, with the help of over 1000 craftsmen and artisans has redesigned the entire structure in Edwardian and Art Deco styles. The hotel’s guest rooms have increased with the addition of thirty-eight new River Suites and guestrooms which overlook the river Thames. There are nine personality suites that pay tribute to the artists and stars that had some times stayed at the Savoy. The Royal Suite, spread over 325 square meters is really fit for a king and will be the talking point for some time to come.

The fine wine and dine experience has been enhanced as well with River Restaurant, American Bar, The Savoy Grill, the Beaufort Bar and Savoy Tea. A must-visit place, the renovated Savoy hotel is sure to attract guests from across the world.
