Sarkozy Couple Becomes First Occupants of Luxurious Taj Palace Hotel Exquisite Suite

French President Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni had firsthand experience of Indian hospitality, luxury and rich culture during their stay in Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. The French first couple stayed in the exquisite Tata Suite, the new most expensive suite of the hotel which costs some 8 lakh rupees per day.

The 16 room suite is all inclusive of library, spa, gym, boardroom, dining room and is the most opulent and luxurious suite of the hotel. Sarkozy couples were first guests to live in this luxurious Tata suite.  Apparently the décor is Mughal themed, the rooms are decked with rare carpets, exclusive 19th century lithographs and paintings by MF Husain and Anjolie Ela Menon and Swarovski crystal chandeliers. The suite itself is an great Indian experience.

Apparently Sarkozys enjoyed their stay here and they even tried ancient Jiva spa session. The hotel also gifted them exclusive Indian gifts to carry home. Obamas had stayed in a similar expensive suite in Taj Hotel in Bombay. Taj Group is creating an awesome benchmark for luxury and comfort. One can’t help but wonder who will be the next occupant of this suite? any guesses?
