The ever expanding world of mobile devices that till last year was solely dominated by mobile phones and smartphones has now come to face a suitable addition in the form of tablets. These mini-computers are designed to provide the users with state of the art technology, wrapped in a neat package. However, due to their fragility and complexity, tablets have largely been related to teenagers, adults and professionals. Now, one of the premier names in mobile learning tools for kids, ViNCi has announced the launch of a remarkable new product called VINCI Tab, a tablet designed and developed specifically for kids. Featuring a 7 inch touchscreen display, this unique tablet has been conceived to provide a digital and interactive learning tool for kids up to four years of age. Unlike other tablets, the VINCI Tab comes with an easy-to grip handle that is made from silicone and covers the entire tablet.
The remarkable VINCI Tab is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU and this kids’ tablet runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. To ensure that the children are kept safe from the hazards of wireless communications, particularly the inappropriate content found all over the web, the VINCI Tab has been devoid of 3G as well as wifi. This tablet comes preloaded with a wide range of applications and games for kids and the LCD display of the device has been made from tempered glass, thereby making it quite sturdy and durable. The VINCI Tab features a 3MP rear camera that can capture 720p HD video and the device can even be used a music & video player, with support available for MPEG-4 videos and MP3, MP3 VBR audio formats. The tablet comes in a 4GB and an 8GB internal storage variant and the memory can be expanded with the help of microSD cards.
