One of the most well renowned television chefs, Gordon Ramsay, who is notoriously famous for his swear words and incredibly eclectic cuisines is now been sued by a wine importer firm, Wineberry America for a non payment of $40,900 worth of wine that was ordered and imported by Gordon Ramsay and his investors, Blackstone Group, and the hotel The London NYC. As per the lawsuit, Ramsay’s restaurant had ordered wines from Wineberry America from the duration of July 2007 until November 2009.
However, the group led by Mr. Ramsay failed to pay the bills for the imported and the wine importer finally decided to take up the matter with the courts. This isn’t the first round of troubles for Gordon Ramsay. In the month of march this year, the popular television chef came under the scanner of the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance as a delinquent taxpayer for his investment, Gordon Ramsay New York, that falls under the Gordon Ramsay Holdings. During the recession period in the year 2009, Mr. Gordon came under heavy financial pressure, as he came under debt for millions of dollars, for which he had to sell his restaurants to the hotels, they were located in.
