Here is Pippa Middletown’s gown better called as the Alexander McQueen gown which she wore to her sister Kate’s wedding to Prince Williams in April. The headline grabbing piece of exclusive apparel can be yours for just $1,680. For many the price tag would seem quite justified given the amount of hype this one had generated.
The gown was designed by Sarah Burton and is virtually identical to the one the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister wore as a maid of honor. The bum fitting dress here came donned with bespoke lace panels around the sleeves and neck and button detailing on the back. However the one available on Net-a-porter comes in a bright red color which has it to upstage the bride and in a just-below-the-knee-length wool crepe. Some have even witnessed the McQueen dress similar to the ivory colored which Pippa wore for as much as $3,100. Needless to say that the dress has become one of the most sought after styles for brides across the country as many prefer the simple silhouette to Kate’s excessively detailed gown.
Pippa Middletown also wore floral diamond earring studs deigned by her mother, white Jimmy Choos and lily of the valley flowers in her hair. And no, that doesn’t come with the dress here. Debenham had earlier created a High Street alternative of the dress priced at £170.
