New York Boasts the World’s Largest Fashion Library

You may have heard about libraries that hold CDs, movies, and other forms of media. But what about a library that is dedicated to fashion and that which houses the largest collection of dresses? The Albright Fashion Library consists of a 7,000 square foot loft in Manhattan’s Cooper Square and it contains more than 15,000 dresses and 10,000 evening gowns.

The clothes organized in the most beautiful manner possible and you would get to see all the gowns based on their colour. Chanel, Dior, Prada, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Celine, Gareth Pugh, Marchesa and Hermes are some of the brands that you would find in the fashion library.

Irene and Marina Albright are the mother-daughter duo who own this amazing fashion library and it would make great sense to visit it if you are anywhere close to New York. There are about 7,000 pairs of shoes as well, which range from Birkin Bags to Louboutins. If you are one of the stylists, celebrities, and editors you could pay an amount to get inside the library and check out all the clothes.
