Mundane Suitcase Tries to Pass Off as a Luxurious Product

If you were looking for a luxurious suitcase, chances are that you would be misled into thinking something is luxurious just because it comes from the house of a famous name. Just because a famous haute couture brand unveils something does not make the unveiled product luxurious and it could turn out to be trashy or plain boring and too expensive.

Take for example this suitcase which is the result of a collaboration between Wallpaper* Magazine and Globe-Trotter. It comes in the boring classic blue and the handles look like they were made in the backyard of a cabin in the 60s. Add to the big names, the suitcase would be sold in high end shops such as Harrods, Selfridges, Browns, The Conran Shop and others in London.

The suitcase would also be available in selected stores in USA, Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. It costs £459 and $925 for the two versions which do not seem to have many d9offerences. Oh, it also comes with an illustration by Russell Bell which would allow you to insert your own Wire joke.
