Global Caravan Technologies Creates the Most Expensive Caravan Worth $1 Million

What could be the most expensive Caravan has been developed by the Global Caravan Technologies. They created a special team with specialists ranging from engineers with NASA and the US Air Force experience as well as experts from Formula One and Indy Cars. The body of the 10.6 meter long caravan, which is at present being called simply the CR-1, has been crafted like a cutting edge super car or a Grand Prix machine from carbon fiber. The result has been that the caravan has acquired immense strength but is much lighter than conventional caravans. The C-1 could qualify as the strongest, lightest and the most expensive caravan.

It Weighs Half as Much as Similar Caravans

Global Caravan Technologies has highlighted the point that because of its light weight the CR-1 has the potential to double the fuel economy of the tow vehicle on the road. It weighs just half as much as similar-sized conventionally built caravans. Harrison Ding, Chairman of GCT said that it was a tough project but that was the challenge that inspired them to take it up. The first step was to create a dedicated team for the project and Ding got the best available talent from Indycar and Nascar champions, former NASA engineers, IT veterans, automotive engineers and aerospace designers.

Spacious and Lush Interiors of CR-1

Fully Loaded Top End Version Will Cost $1 Million
Race car specialists from Dallara, which has the experience of building hundreds of race cars including machines that took victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, also contributed to the development of CR-1 with their valuable inputs. Stefano DePonti, Chief Executive of Dallara believes that CR-1 has raised the bar for caravans considerably and the customer expectation from a vehicle of this kind will change dramatically. The top end version of the caravan will have high end features like glass that has adjustable tinting, satellite TV, WiFi connectivity and a solar panel power system. The basic models might start with a price tag of $170,000 but you might have to pay a million dollar if you want to own the fully loaded top end version of the caravan. The CR-1 is set to go on sale in the U.S next year.
