Los Angeles based stylists Meritt Elliott and Emily Current have teamed up to create a line of bag collection called Westward. They are popular among Hollywood stars as their clients know that their products have the notion of west meeting east. The idea is of Kate Spade from New York, which is an east coast brand travelling towards west coast. The aesthetically designed capsule with its ladylike charm is named as Westward.
Deborah Lloyd, creative director of Kate Spade provides the perfect remedy for the woman who does not know about her destination that she visits. To start the collaboration, the brand invited celebrities for a rooftop dinner which included stars such as Michelle Tractenberg, Chord Overstreet, and Emma Roberts to name a few. The duo have an imaginary girl’s personality whose size, shape and gait would suit a stylish young woman, and the bags are so created.
KSNY has made very large donations for Phase One Foundation which carries on cancer research, and is of special importance to Emily and Meritt. The husband of Elliott suffered from brain cancer and passed away a couple of years back.
The capsule collection ranges between $245 – $1295 and his inspired by Kate Spade in New York. You could see more chic and feminine collections of pictures available for online visitors.
