M House is the newest sustainable architecture from Michael Jantzen

Michael Jantzen isn’t a new name in the design world. The internationally acclaimed designer has been creating sustainable structures for quite some time now. Some of his previous work also includes prefabricated housing and CO2-neutral living situations and this was way before the world woke up to the perils of global warming and other related environmental phenomena. The latest addition to his collection is this M House which can either be your private vacation retreat or a hi-tech resort space.

The architecture breathes elements of sustainability through its each and every feature. Powered by sources such as the sun and the wind energy, this structure is completely self-sufficient which means it doesn’t resort to any external sources to keep it rolling. It is built from the M-vironment which is characterized by a wide variety of manipulatable components which can be connectec in various combinations to form a matrix of modular support frames.

The M House here also has a series of rectangular panels which are attached hinges to an open space frame grid of seven interlocking cubes. The overall look of the house isn’t graces by aesthetic design, but still its green quotient is good enough to win accolades for it. The designer has his name synonymous contemporary eco-friendly contractors. He has got his work presented on various TV and radio programs, and in many galleries. Some of his designs have been exhibited at the National Building Museum, the Canadian Center for Architecture, the Union of Russian Architects, the Harvard School of Design and Architecture, and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
