Luxury Real Estate Listed by Zsa Zsa and Her Prince

Any news or story emanating from the Zsa Zsa Gabor and her colorful husband Frederic Prinz von Anhalt is taken with a pinch of salt. Anhalt is infamous for passing on inaccurate information to the press. It has become impossible to determine when he is telling the truth. But the news from the household keeps coming. The latest comes from the real estate agent Christophe Choo who announced on his website that they have listed the Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Bel Air House as the exclusive agent.

The news about the luxury home for sale has been beaten to death since January. This new announcement had some skeptics saying that it was nothing more than a gimmick and that Christophe Choo has cut a deal with the high profile couple and purchased the privilege of listing as a promotional initiative to regain his credibility. Gabor has owned the house since the seventies. But things are not clear apart from the brief announcement on the Christophe Choo site. There are no details available and the house is not on MLS as yet.

There is conflicting news about the asking price as well. Anhalt had initially said that they were expecting a price of $28 million for the house. But a recent report on TMZ says the price has been marked down to $16 million. They even quoted von Anhalt as saying that he has scaled down the price because he wants to sell it faster so that Zsa Zsa can directly go to a newer, safer place once she comes out of the hospital. There is a lot of information going around about the hose but none of them have been confirmed. Some believe that the house was built by Howard Hughes and that it has 12,000 square feet of built up area. And now Choo has added a new information to that list by claiming that the house was designed by John Elgin Woolf.
