Lord Sugar of Britain made his first million in 1980, yes, thirty years ago. He is now worth an estimated £800million which is a billionaire in American dollar terms. He is now the star of BBC 1’s Apprentice which has made him into a high profile celebrity millionaire. His activities get more space in the press and get publicized. He contributes to it himself like he did recently when he bought a new £18.5 million private jet the 13-seat Embraer Legacy 650.
The 63 year old tycoon announced the details of his new jet on the micro blogging site twitter. Lord Sugar showed off the plane, which has G-SUGA emblazoned across it, by posting pictures on Twitter and also dedicated an entire album to it on his Facebook page. The British millionaire already has a Legacy 600 jet but he is obviously delighted with his new jet. He says that it is fast with a generous hold and ideal for him as he flies almost 300 hours on business every year.
Lord Sugar who has a pilot’s license has a fleet of luxury cars including a Range Rover, a Bentley and a Ferrari. His new jet will be stationed in a hangar at the Stansted Airport. The jet with three cabins and a large bathroom has high broadband connectivity even while in the air.
