Kim Jones For Menswear At Louis Vuitton

Kim Jones is now going to be designing the menswear and mens ready-to-wear designs at Louis Vuitton under the artistic direction of Marc Jacobs, after Louis Vuitton has bid farewell to Paul Helbers. Paul Helbers was working for Louis Vuitton for the past five years. Paul Helbers was thanked by CEO Yves Carcelle and by Marc Jacobs for his contribution to the French brand’s successful collections. Paul Helbers contribution resulted in good profit for Louis Vuitton in the past five years.

Kim Jones who will be stepping into the job, has a unique career graph. Kim Jones recently quit as a designer of UK label Dunhill. He has worked with many different brands like Mulberry, Hugo Boss, Uniqlo, Alexander McQueen, Umbro and Topman, and he has also been a stylist and art director for certain magazines like Dazed and Confused, VMan, i-D, Another Magazine, and Fantastic Man.

Kim Jones started off as a graduate from Saint Martins College in London and presented his first collection in the UK fashion week in 2003. Since then Kim Jones seems to have come a long way, especially after having landed as Louis Vuitton’s designer.
