James Corbett Designs Sculptures Made from Junk Car Parts

Australian artist James Corbett has created sculptures made of spare car parts. The junk parts have been used to create an almost modern sculpture-story which tells the tale of vehicles and bikes, in an animated way.

The sculptures include special characters and vehicles created from junk car parts and one of them is the interesting Speedway Slider. It looks as if the biker is about to increase speed, and in fact you can see a certain movement in the sculpture though it is stationary in actuality. He has sold his sculptures all across the world and some are so unique that many art collectors have acclaimed his sculptures at length.

There are some scrap pieces which are at least 80 years old and when it comes to automotive industry, 80 year old scrap can be considered antique! The coolest thing about the sculptures is that all individual parts are kept intact and as they are and nothing is altered or changed. The Walking Miss Daisy shows a woman walking a dog. If you are an art or sculpture collector, you could give Corbett serious thought, as it is contemporary and aesthetic in nature.
