The auction has generated a buzz as it has a charity angle. The proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting Christie’s Green Auction that is working towards saving the world by protecting the environment. The catamaran has generated a lot of curiosity as it comes with luxuries rarely seen on a catamaran. It has sun-pads for sunbathing and a spacious Jacuzzi fitted flybridge. It has lot of open spaces and is ideal for outdoor sea activities. The interiors are also rather luxurious for a catamaran. 17 varieties of granite and 16 leather finishes have been used to get right effect. There is luxurious accommodation available for 12 guests. The catamaran is powered by a couple of 490HP caterpillar engines with an ideal cruise speed of 12 knots.
The successful bidders at the Charitybuzz auctions can chose from two options that they are offering. The first is eight days and seven nights cruise through the Croatia cruising zone which will take the sailors to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites apart from Blue Grotto, Dubrovnik, and Hvar Town. The other option is to spend the same period of time sailing through the Caribbean waters and enjoy various outdoor sea activities. Guests who are not used to sailing in a catamaran will have the benefit of two PADI certified instructors on board to guide them so that they can get the most out of their sailing journey on the sea and make it a truly memorable experience.
