Harvard tops Forbes List of Most Billionaire Graduates

Harvard University does it again. The prestigious university ahs a bit of a reputation in topping several lists that judge the best in education. This time around it has topped a Forbes List that lists out universities that have churned out the most number of billionaires. With an impressive count of 62 billionaire graduates, Harvard tops the list. Some of the notable billionaire alumni include New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Citadel founder Kenneth Griffin and David Rockefeller Sr.

Then second slot is occupied by Stanford University with 28 billionaire graduates including Jerry Yang, cofounder of Yahoo, Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Philip Knight of Nike and David Shaw of hedge fund DE Shaw. Third comes Columbia University with 20 billionaire graduates such as Henry Kravis and hedge fund tycoons Louis Bacon and Leon Cooperman. University of Pennsylvania that has 18 billionaire graduates boast of Mortimer Zuckerman, Daniel Och of hedge fund Och-Ziff and Michael Milken as its alumni.

The other universities on the list include the Yale University in the fifth position with 16 billionaires, then University of Chicago with 13 billionaires, Massachusetts Institute of Technology with 11, Northwestern University and New York University with 10 and Cornell University with 9 billionaire alumni.
