The authorities in China are watching the growth in the luxury market closely. In today’s scenario China is the main contributor of growth for the luxury brands. Hence all important global brands are focusing on China to further boost their sales. The authorities in China are also doing their bit to facilitate the growth and make it easier for the global companies to access the markets in China.
The first international luxury club was officially set up recently in Tianjin. It is a port city in northern China which is growing in importance rapidly for business in diverse sectors. The authorities are hoping that this initiative will further enhance the high end business environment of the city. Beijing of course is on way to developing as a fashion centre with increased activity being witnessed by fashion houses from across the world.
Tianjin is working towards growing in importance on the map of the luxury market. The new club is an important and decisive step in that direction. The club will hold its first special sale from Jan. 23 to Jan. 28, and more than 100 top-class international brands, including Cartier and Dior, will debut on the occasion. The move is bound to benefit both the luxury brands as well as the city of Tianjin.
