The first class section of Quantas’ A 380 aircrafts has been designed to convey a very futuristic look. You may be forgiven for thinking that the photograph is that of the U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek. The spacious section has been designed to provide the best of luxury to the elite passengers.
Marc Newson has designed the interiors for the airline and one must admit that he has done a wonderful job. The first class section boasts of LCD touch panels, leather seating, plants and sheep-skin covered full length beds.
The first class cabins have been designed as personal suites with several amenities but the unique feature is the central socializing are for the first class passengers. It provides the flyers an area to move around in and stretch their legs and sit down for a drink. You almost fell like you are traveling in a jet of your own. The cabins boast of a dresser for storing your clothes. The first class passengers are provided with pajamas when they want to retire to bed.
The entertainment system available to the first class passengers is state of the art and there are over 1,000 videos you can choose from. The touch screen controlled LCD panel in every berth gives the passengers access to over 1,000 different programmes. The passengers are provided with noise cancelling headphones so that they can relax. There are only 14 berths in the section and the pricing of the tickets in the section will be done accordingly. It has been designed to provide the ultimate luxurious flying experience.
