Tributo Ferrari was a unique car rally organized by the iconic carmaker that ran from New York’s Battery Park to Bridgehampton Polo Club situated on the East End of Long Island. The car owners participated enthusiastically in large numbers. It was a display of a range of models made over the years. It was not only the current models that participated but one could see Daytonas as well as an F40, 275 GTB, 250 GT Series 1 Cabriolet, Dino 246 and more. It was remarkable to see so many Ferraris in one place and there were admirers lining up all along the route.
60 Proud Owners of Ferrari Went Through All the Iconic Streets of the City
The rally that started from the Battery Park, which is perhaps the Southern-most tip of Manhattan, went up north passing through Times Square, Central Park South and over the Queensborough Bridge and ultimately concluded in Long Island at the Bridgehampton Polo Club. There were a total of sixty participants, all proud owners of magnificent Italian machines. Despite so many changes in the automobile industry over the years Ferrari has managed to retain its position in the niche at the top. It is one of the most admired brand that has retained its exclusivity and unmatched performance. And it was a treat for the citizens of New York to see 60 Ferraris making their way through all the iconic streets of the city.
There was a Silent Auction of Some Exciting and Exclusive Items
The powerful engines of all the participating cars seemed to be resounding together. When the rally concluded at the Bridgehampton Polo Club a silent auction was conducted to offer some exciting and exclusive items including a Ferrari Corso Pilota Driving School 2014 experience with a choice of participating in Montreal, Aspen or Austin, two tickets to the Austin Formula One Ferrari hospitality area and access to all exclusive Ferrari hosted events, and a limited edition Hublot Liberty Bang watch. Part of the proceeds went to New York Cares that runs volunteer projects for 1,300 nonprofits, public schools and city agencies. The donation is expected to help people in need throughout the five boroughs.
