It is an honor for any artist to be even nominated for the Oscars. If the artist manages to get his or her hands on the coveted statuette the indirect benefits to the artist’s career and the commercial prospects of the film are great. The losing nominees will get a gift bag worth more than $75,000 in a swag bag titled “Everybody Wins at the Oscars.â€The gift bags will be given away not far from the Kodak Theatre, at the GBK gift lounge, one day after the award ceremony. The Luxury Hub wrote about the move to make the gifting process more discreet. There are many getaway packages in the gift bags including a $12,000 Belize getaway in Cayo Espanto, a $5,000 all-inclusive week-long fitness retreat and a $16,000 all-inclusive getaway to Huvafen Fushi luxury resort in the Maldives .
The best of the luxury travel companies have been vying with each other to offer their complementary packages for the stars. The bag contains several jewelry and fashion items like the Kim Kardashian Signature Watch by The Brissmor Company, Couture tunics, Italian silk neckwear and Swarovski crystals. The bag has some quirky items like $100 electronic cigarettes with Swarovski crystals, a $2,000 Virgin Galactic sub-orbital space craft scale model, a Madame Paulette stain removal kit, nasal products and New Zealand spring Kosher water.
