If you were not aware of the bankruptcy case of the Hollywood Motion Picture and Television Museum you would be surprised to know that a multi-million dollar agreement has been reached to sell the Bell Island Village. Hollywood has been experiencing some real tough times with the foreclosures and bankruptcies applied by several companies. Matisse Capital LLC and Southern Venue Development, which own the Bell Island have agreed to sell it to Tennessee Investment Partners LLC for a sum of $19.5 million.
The Television Museum also hosts memorabilia of Hollywood actresses and one of them is Debbie Reynolds. It is rather strange that in a place where there is so much of glamour and wealth, former companies have been filing for bankruptcies and museums are being sold.
The Bell Island Village is an unfinished entertainment project which may soon see the light of the day. Now, the new developers may finally complete the project and revive the glorious traditions of Hollywood. However it is not clear what the future of Bell Island is going to be. Hollywood would however show its never-say-die spirit.
