DFS, the leading luxury travel retailer, organised a gala event ‘Master of Spirits’, in collaboration with the Changi Airport Group and presented some of the world’s rarest and most coveted spirits, wines and Champagnes to invited international guests. The scale and the range of the event made it the first of its kind and naturally attracted the connoisseurs and collectors from around the world.
The gala event took place at Changi Airport’s elite Jet Quay CIP Terminal on March 12. The invite only gala event managed to bring the best and the most prestigious from around the world under one roof. The participating companies supported the event wholeheartedly and hosted private dinners for guests where they got the opportunity to savour precious wines, Champagnes, Scotch whisky blends, single malts, Cognacs and Armagnacs. Brand partners, VIPs and DFS Platinum Services Club members formed the bulk of the invited guests for the rare event.
Michael Schriver, President Worldwide Store Operations for DFS welcomed the guests. He was excited about the fact that their efforts were successful in getting together the exceptional collection of rare spirits, most prestigious makers and a fascinating guest list, for the event. Director of Merchandise- Spirits for DFS, Brooke Supernaw led the media for an exclusive tour and brand representatives interacted with them giving details about their creations and the process. Some of the highlights on display were Royal Salute 50 Year Old, Highland Park 50 Years Old, two bottles of The Macallan Lalique 55 Years Old, Louis XIII Rare Cask 43.8, Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum and many more.
