ColorWare did take up the baton of doing some good paintjob on your favorite gadgets which otherwise looked boring owing to their black and white shades. The only flipside was that the color-throwing work comes with a hefty price tag. This time they used their skills on Segways with complete customization options.
ColorWare has previously diversified its paintjob portfolio to stuff like iPod, iPhone, Blackberry and even custom-colored HDTVs. It then made Segway i2 its obsession and is now offering to color those which people have already bought. It goes without mention that they are selling brand new ones as well. It lets you choose a different color for all of its 13 visible parts.
This Segway customization is overpriced at $6000 and it makes me wonder if this is really the price one should pay to give up the black or white sage look? I mean maintaining one’s cool quotient is one thing and burning an exorbitant amount of dollar bills for that is another.
