Clive Palmer, The Mining Billionaire Beats Santa Claus With His Christmas Bonanza

Are you looking for the perfect employer? If you have interests in mining you could work for Clive Palmer in his Yabulu nickel refinery. The Christmas bonus he has announced for his staff this year proves that he really knows how to look after his people and star performers. He has announced a luxury holiday for two to a resort in Fiji for all 750 long-term workers at his Yabulu nickel refinery in north Queensland plus a new Mercedes Benz car for 50 of his most valued employees.

It would be rather difficult outdo this kind of offer or even match it. To top it all the mining billionaire threw a lavish party for his employees featuring more than 20 performing artists and a budget of $2 million. The total package of the Christmas bonus is going to cost almost $10 million.

Palmer while talking to The Australian justified the unusually high expense by saying “These people have made a lot of money for me this year, and I thought I’d give some of it back.” He further added that he had more money than he needed and giving some away is not going to hurt him or affect his lifestyle.
