Cipriani, the four generation family, has elaborate plans to expand its empire, and in the scheme of things has announced their new project in Abu Dhabi. This is their first project in Abu Dhabi and will be part of the multibillion Yas Island Project. The family already runs operations in New York, Los Angeles, London, Venice, Hong Kong, Istanbul and Porto Cervo in Sardinia. They will be opening their signature Italian restaurant, a Wine and Bellini Room.
They will also open “Yotto” their first and only Japanese restaurant, plus a cigar lounge, “Allure” a nightclub, and a private member’s yacht club. This partnership will induct Cipriani to the Yas Yacht Club, which happens to be Abu Dhabi’s first official yacht club. This yacht club’s interiors have been designed by the great Italian architect Michele Bonan. Its opening will coincide with Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix taking place from November 12 to November 14.
As part of the build up leading to Formula 1â„¢ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Dilbar, one of the largest yachts in the world arrived at the marina. It measures over 360 feet in length, and has been built by Lurssen Yachts with exterior design by Tim Heywood and the interiors by Alberto Pinto.
