Cigar Auctioned for $7000!

You certainly would not spare $7000 to smoke a cigar, even if it was made from the finest and quality tobacco! What if it was once held by Sir Winston Churchill? Would you not like to own it? Let me assume a Yes?

The cigar was tossed aside in a jiffy as Mr. Churchill had to attend an urgent meeting, in the year 1941. A member of his team carefully secured the remnants of the cigar and made sure that it survives for keeps. She later passed it on as a legacy to her friend. Apparently her friend wanted to keep the big bucks coming in and does not realize the importance of the cigar butt, so she planned to auction it. After having roped in $7000, will she ever miss being the sole owner of the souvenir of the great British politician?

Sir Winston Churchill was a great lover of cigars and apparently they were one of the many reasons for the series of strokes he suffered. The last stroke left him paralyzed and he died at the age of 90, on 24 January 1965. The legend may have died, but his name still lives and accounts for the $7000 earned by the woman.
