Cadbury’s to Sell the Most Beautiful House in England

In an ominous turn of events, many British companies are being bought by foreign companies partly due to the bad condition in which British companies are right now. In the process, a little bit of Britain is being sold away to foreigners who do not understand the legacy and heritage of many of these legendary English companies. One such hostile takeover was that of Cadbury’s, the chocolate giant.

Cadbury’s was bought by an American company Kraft for a £11.9 billion deal five months ago. Now, the heiress of Cadbury’s Felicity Loudon is attempting to9 challenge the rival by launching her own chocolate company. In order to fund her venture, she is selling her £27m country estate Pusey House. It is a classy eight-bedroom home set in 100 acres near Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

The Georgian property has been described as the most beautiful home in England by Mrs Loudon. Cadbury’s was considered a national treasure and we only need to wait and observe if Mrs Loudon’s chocolate company will surpass the company her ancestors built. It needs to be seen if the new company would stand the sti8ff competition which had already sort of doomed Cadbury’s.
