Buffalo Creek Ranch Inspired by the Wild West will be Auctioned on September 4

Buffalo Creek Ranch which seems to have been built as the ultimate tribute to the Wild West is being auctioned on September 4th by Concierge Auctions. The property was earlier listed for $15.5 million but could not find a buyer. It has now come to the block with a reserve price of $5 million. The ranch is situated near Lake Tahoe in Nevada. It has the potential to be developed into a perfect vacation home as it provides the ideal refuge from city life. Who ever built it had the money to convert his passion for Wild West into reality. It boasts of a Jack Daniel’s-themed train depot, a fully-restored 1923 caboose poker parlor, and a firehouse with its very own 1962 fire truck.

The main House has 3,100 sq ft of Living Space
David Semas who is selling the ranch said that he along with his wife spent five years looking for suitable land for the ranch and finally settled for this pristine virgin land which they developed as the Buffalo Creek Ranch. The natural beauty in the ranch is remarkable As it would be unimaginable to find orchards and vineyards in the high desert. The river running through the valley makes it lush and fertile. The snow capped views of the Sierras and the Little Barber and Sheridan creeks are stunning. The ranch is spread over 34 acres which are located at the base of the Eastern Sierra Mountains. The ranch is surrounded by Aspen trees and boasts of several ponds and waterfalls apart from a fruit and nut aorchard and an 8 acre vineyard.

The Ranch Boasts of Several Ponds

The ranch does not have a big house but has several small buildings. The largest amongst them is a 3,100-square-foot Tuscan-inspired ranch house which has three bedrooms and bathrooms, a gym and boasts of fantastic terrace views. There is a log cabin nearby which serves as a guest house. There is enormous scope of development on the ranch as it has over 30 zoned acres that will allow the new owner to put in a helipad and build additional residences. If you want to have a look around the property you may visit any day between 1 and 4pm with prior appointment.
