Biomega’s Two New Bikes: LDN and NYC

The Danish bicycle company Biomega that has brought out some amazing bikes in the past has launched two new bikes this week. The first one is by London designer Ross Lovegrove, while the second one is by the Danish design collective KiBiSi.  The LDN bike designed by Lovegrove is quite the looker with its wishbone shape and one-piece carbon fibre frame. This bicycle frame has a hole in order to save weight and enable the bike to be hung on the wall.

The second one, the NYC bike has been designed by KiBiSi. This one has an aluminium frame. It also has an integrated mudguard and carbon fibre belt drive that replaces the more traditional chain. These two bicycles will go on display at the Eurobike and Interbike shows that will be held in September. The LDN will also be showcased at the SHOWHOW design exhibition at Tent London from 23 to26 September.

The look of these two bikes is very chic and might catch the fancy of the bike enthusiasts out there. I am not sure how much these two bikes would cost, but lets just say that Biomega does not have the reputation of producing cheap bikes so these might make your pockets much lighter.
