Audi AG Finally Reveals The Price Tag For The Phenomenal 2012 Audi R8 GT

One of the foremost names in luxury sports cars, Audi AG, has now announced the pricing structure for the all-new 2012 Audi R8 GT. The 2012 R8 GT is powered by a modified 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine and produces a powerful 560 horsepower. Audi will be introducing this new model in to the markets with a starting price tag of $196,800. This phenomenal sports car has been given R tronic sequential manual transmission and can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds, while maintain a top speed of nearly 200 mph.

The all-new 2012 Audi R8 GT is designed and developed to provide the drivers with high lateral acceleration and a low center of gravity, while the chassis is made from carbon fiber using the company’s cutting edge Audi ASF lightweight construction process. Inspired from the immensely popular Audi R8 LMS GT3 race car, the 2012 R8 GT will be produced on a limited edition production model and to enhance the exclusivity of the car, Audi has applied several significant changes to the exterior as well as the interiors of the R8 GT. The instrument panel on this marvelous car will be painted white with a R8 GT logo and the interiors will feature carbon matte inlays. Furthermore, all the gear knobs will be numbered, while the seats, headliner, steering wheel and handbrake lever will be upholstered in black Alcantara.

As far as in-car entertainment is concerned, the 2012 Audi R8 GT will boast a 12-speaker, 495-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system, while Audi has also announced an all new color scheme for this marvelous model, in the pattern of Samoa Orange.
